Join our IT team as an IT Analyst at our Haverhill manufacturing site to play a key role in the operational management, maintenance, support and continuous improvement of the Company’s IT infrastructure.
The IT Analyst role ensures the availability, reliability, security and compliance of IT systems supporting business and GxP activities. Working within a regulated environment, the position contributes to computer system validation, cybersecurity, data integrity, audit readiness and regulatory compliance.
Your Responsibilities
You will:
Infrastructure & Network Management
· Administer and maintain server, storage, network and cloud environments.
· Manage backups, patching, monitoring, disaster recovery and business continuity processes.
· Support Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID, virtualisation and endpoint management platforms.
Business Application Support
· Provide second and third line support for business-critical applications.
· Manage application configuration, user access, vendor coordination and upgrade activities.
· Support ERP, Quality, Laboratory and Manufacturing systems where applicable.
IT Service Management
· Manage incidents, service requests, problems and changes using ITIL principles.
· Maintain SLA performance and perform root cause analysis for recurring issues.
· Maintain IT asset and configuration records.
GxP Compliance and Validation Responsibilities
· Support validated and regulated computer systems throughout their lifecycle.
· Participate in user requirements gathering, risk assessments, validation planning and test execution.
· Maintain documentation including SOPs, validation records, configuration specifications and change records.
· Ensure compliance with GMP, GAMP 5, Annex 11, 21 CFR Part 11 and company quality procedures.
· Support internal audits, external audits and regulatory inspections.
Project and Vendor Management
· Work with external suppliers, MSPs and software vendors to resolve issues and deliver improvement projects.
· Participate in infrastructure upgrades, cloud migrations, cybersecurity initiatives and application deployments.
· Assist with budgeting, procurement, licensing and contract renewals.
Our Requirements
· Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field. Equivalent technical experience will be considered.
· Proven experience in infrastructure and application support.
· Microsoft Windows Server administration.
· Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft 365 and Entra ID.
· VMware and/or Hyper-V virtualisation.
· TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs and firewall technologies.
· Backup, storage and endpoint management solutions.
· Experience working in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device or similarly regulated environment is highly desirable.
· ITIL Foundation, Microsoft Certifications, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, VMware Certification, Cybersecurity or GAMP/CSV related training preferred.
